\nPrimary Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tThe Sales Consultant will be a member of the Business Assurance Division. In conjunction with the business strategy set by the Business Assurance Business Manager and Sales Manager, grow all service offerings offered within the Business Assurance business unit. This will include but is not limited to certification, training, customized audits and technical consultancy, by pro-actively and re-actively, selling and promoting the product ranges on offer, to all industry sectors in South Africa, with the prime objectives of meeting the divisional budget by obtaining new clients and growing the portfolio of existing clients.<\/p>\n
Specific Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tPerform all duties in accordance with the SGS Statement of Integrity
\n\tCompliance to all relevant SGS Business Assurance South Africa operational quality policies and procedures
\n\tFamiliarization with audit and certification processes and practices
\n\tImplement the divisional Sales Plan, supported by KPI\u2019s
\n\tPromoting all service offerings within the Business Assurance Unit
\n\tEnsure targets for proposals, client\u2019s visits, sales of new clients and sales revenue for Business Assurance are achieved
\n\tProposal follow-up on all proposals in accordance with divisional Sales policies and procedures
\n\tBecoming familiar and conversant with Sales Prospecting as per the SGS Business Assurance policies and procedures
\n\tAppropriate use and handling of Client Data\/Proposal\/Service Offer Worksheets
\n\tAdhere to all quality and safety requirements of the SGS management system
\n\tTarget growth on the different industry sectors to increase industry mix
\n\tPromote the image, capability and integrity of SGS to our clients
\n\tPerform any other reasonable tasks as assigned by direct line manager\u00a0<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tProficient on MS Office, especially with MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel programs
\n\tMatric<\/p>\n

\nRequired Skills and Experience<\/p>\n
\tFood and non-food Management systems Certification Audits (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 22000, FSSC etc), training background\u00a0
\n\tMinimum of 3 years sales experience coupled with good industry knowledge and proven sales track record \/ performance
\n\tCustomer face to face meetings, client and supplier liaison experience
\n\tAbility to consistently meet deadlines\u00a0
\n\tAbility to work both independently and as part of a team\u00a0
\n\tSuperb organizational skills\u00a0
