Qualifying Criteria :<\/p>\n
\tGrade 11 or equivalent qualification
\n\tBasic Level: MQA Competency B Certificate; Relevant Qualifications, courses, and licenses
\n\t1-3 years\u2019 experience in a mining environment is essential and required
\n\tTrackless Mining experience is essential and required
\n\tMust have Dover Test Results A or B, or will be submitted for Dover Testing
\n\tProficient in English and any other of the 11 official languages
\n\tApplicant must possess good verbal communication skills
\n\tSouth African Citizenship
\n\tClear Criminal Record<\/p>\n
\u00a0Responsibilities :<\/p>\n
\t\u00a0Work a cycle or rotation of shifts
\n\tResponsible for operating the Lowbed
\n\tAssist with and monitor preventative and breakdown maintenance during shift (fill up fuel, oil, lubrication, etc.)
\n\tBe observant \/ vigilant when the machine is operational and\/or in motion
\n\tVerify level of the machine using specified levels
\n\thelp with transportation of vent and water pipes, including pumps and other heavy materials
\n\tEnsure that the machine is in good operating order and report any faults and inconsistencies to Supervisor and Control Room
\n\tAlways take instructions from the Supervisor responsible for the area \/ work place
\n\tManage and maintain in area of responsibility in accordance with mine standards, procedures and practices
\n\tAdhere to MHSA standards & Gold1\u2019s safety motto :\u00a0\u201cNothing is so important that it cannot be done safely\u201d<\/p>\n
