\nJOB PURPOSE<\/p>\n
\tThe incumbent will provide Postpaid Pricing & decision support to the commercial and marketing team through the modelling and analysis of costs, revenue and other financial parameters to develop competitive pricing and product strategies.
\n\tThe role is also responsible for managing the Postpaid Product portfolio, identifying potential revenue leakages and opportunities to improve profitability and revenue growth.
\n\tIn addition, the role will be responsible for ECL modelling and proactive statistical analysis of information generated from various sources, interpreted for specific relevance and application to CEC.<\/p>\n
RESPONSIBILITIES<\/p>\n
Pricing<\/p>\n
\tHelp to determine competitive pricing strategies to gain market share and achieve revenue goals
\n\tAnalyse data from multiple sources, develop complex pricing models, and collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop sales strategies
\n\tAssess data from a variety of sources to gain insights into pricing strategies and market trends
\n\tAnalyse competitor pricing and market trends to increase market share and profitability
\n\tTrack customer engagement to develop effective pricing strategies for products and offerings
\n\tApply statistical modelling methods to determine the potential impact of pricing strategies on profitability
\n\tRecommend pricing strategies that align closely with market trends and identify new market segments
\n\tCollaborate with sales and marketing departments on developing and implementing competitive pricing strategies
\n\tDevelop dynamic pricing tools to effectively respond to changing market needs and trends
\n\tPrepare and present pricing analysis findings to executives, marketing teams, and sales staff
\n\tKeeping informed on pricing analysis methods and industry trends
\n\tKeep abreast of market developments on pricing and product strategies<\/p>\n
Product \/ Portfolio Review<\/p>\n
\tManage the product portfolio inline with CEC strategic objectives
\n\tDevelop monthly product reports
\n\tAnalyse product portfolio and identify opportunities for revenue growth or potential leakage
\n\tPerform product & pricing competitor analysis and present outcomes, opportunities and potential risks
\n\tWork with the Cell C product development team in implementing product changes and enhancements\u00a0<\/p>\n
Financial<\/p>\n
\tForecast revenue and market share based on market trends, production costs, profit margins, and sales volumes
\n\tTake responsibility for the ECL model, working with the Finance team to maintain and update<\/p>\n
