Job Purpose:<\/p>\n
\tTo oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar, ensuring exceptional service delivery, staff efficiency, and customer satisfaction while maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and inventory control.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tSupervise and coordinate daily bar operations.
\n\tLead, train, and motivate bar staff to provide excellent service.
\n\tMaintain high levels of cleanliness and hygiene in accordance with health and safety regulations.
\n\tEnsure all beverages are prepared and served according to standards.
\n\tManage inventory: monitor stock levels, conduct regular stock takes, and place orders as needed.
\n\tHandle customer complaints or queries professionally and efficiently.
\n\tAssist in the creation of cocktail and beverage menus.
\n\tEnforce responsible alcohol service policies.
\n\tOversee opening and closing duties, including cash handling and reporting.
\n\tEnsure compliance with licensing laws and company policies.
\n\tAssist with scheduling and shift planning to ensure adequate coverage.<\/p>\n
Skills and Competencies:<\/p>\n
\tStrong leadership and team management skills.
\n\tExcellent customer service and communication abilities.
\n\tKnowledge of beverages, cocktails, and bar equipment.
\n\tAbility to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
\n\tStrong organizational and multitasking abilities.
\n\tAttention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
\n\tBasic computer literacy (POS systems, stock management software).<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience:<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a bar or hospitality setting.
\n\tRelevant hospitality or bar management training preferred.
\n\tKnowledge of local liquor laws and health regulations.
\n\tFirst Aid and Responsible Service of Alcohol certifications (if required by local regulations).<\/p>\n
