{"id":12575,"date":"2025-06-30T10:02:10","date_gmt":"2025-06-30T10:02:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/account-manager-2\/"},"modified":"2025-10-01T00:24:34","modified_gmt":"2025-10-01T00:24:34","slug":"account-manager-2","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/?post_type=job_listing&p=12575","title":{"rendered":"Account Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Client Service \/ Business Management<\/p>\n<p>\tDay-to-day project management of all projects allocated to you on one or more accounts, from conceptualization through to production.<br \/>\n\tManage budget and be accountable for profit on all projects.<br \/>\n\tStrengthen the relationship and profile of Account Management with all departments in the Agency.<br \/>\n\tSupport Account Directors and guide Junior Account Executives.<br \/>\n\tAssist with New Business activities as and when required.<br \/>\n\tControl creative output, schedules, cost estimates and financial control of production processes.<br \/>\n\tImprove cost effectiveness and profitability.<br \/>\n\tTake responsibility for managing internal and client status meetings.<br \/>\n\tEnsure appropriate sign-off on all required project documentation .<br \/>\n\tEnsure understanding of the effect of a job on the client&#8217;s bottom line (ROI).<br \/>\n\tEnsure that relevant case studies are acquired and kept for both team, new business presentations and web-site information.<br \/>\n\tEnsure delivery of exceptional creative solutions. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<br \/>\n\tAssist in all relevant support activities &#8211; Boardroom bookings; relevant catering; equipment requirements; agenda; status reports; filing; scheduling of meetings.<br \/>\n\tLeading and driving integration between various agencies working on the Client&#8217;s account.<\/p>\n<p>Client Relationship Development<\/p>\n<p>\tHave a clear understanding of the client&#8217;s operational requirements and deliver briefs to agreed plans. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<br \/>\n\tContinuously provide updated information regarding status of work, while managing the client&#8217;s expectations. \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<br \/>\n\tProvide clients with full access to the range of services that are available within the TBWAGroup.<br \/>\n\tRaise, develop and exploit opportunities for business development with existing and potential clients.<br \/>\n\tControl information gathered about the Client through accurate contact reporting, clear project documentation on costs, copy and artwork instructions.<br \/>\n\tEnsure Client and Agency is kept up to date with any developments on the account via attendance at relevant meetings, regular reviews.<br \/>\n\tTrack Client&#8217;s and project profitability where appropriate.<br \/>\n\tTo manage the invoicing and financial administration within the team. To train the AE in the above and support Account Management and the Finance department with regards to Financial Reporting.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<br \/>\n\tDrive Aprais \/ Yardstick or other action plans &amp; continuously drive an awareness of how all actions have an impact on the Aprais scores.<br \/>\n\tAssist in the development of the Agency&#8217;s relationship with the Client from Advertising supplier to Marketing Communication supplier to Brand Leader.<br \/>\n\tEnsure understanding of the relevant client contract and relevant legal\/regulatory guidelines.<br \/>\n\tEnsure successful delivery of all client briefs on time and within budget.<\/p>\n<p>Collaboration and Team Work<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure that any relevant intelligence is shared with team members for learning across the Agency.<br \/>\n\tWork with the team to ensure the above by prioritizing, delegating and managing each of the projects in hand and to ensure regular reviews with clients.<br \/>\n\tAssist with collaboration across all disciplines in the Agency.<\/p>\n<p>Financial Management<\/p>\n<p>\tDeliver the best solutions to your client and maximizing profit for your client and the agency.<br \/>\n\tEnsure invoicing and financial administration of the highest standards to ensure timeous collection of income for the agency.<br \/>\n\tProvide monthly forecasts and income reports to your team associates.<br \/>\n\tDrive the ethics of cost control and income growth all the way through your team.<br \/>\n\tTo monitor all billings procedures carried out by Account team and alert Account.<br \/>\n\tManagement Director promptly to any likely changes to billing and Income or any potential write-offs.<br \/>\n\tManage Client and project profitability.<\/p>\n<p>Core Expectations<\/p>\n<p>\tSet objectives, provide feedback and manage reviews.<br \/>\n\tCreate clear development plans for yourself and support the development of the team&#8217;s skill pool.<br \/>\n\tTo receive coaching and mentorship in order to develop skills required to be an effective mentor and coach in the future.<br \/>\n\tAdhere to company performance and behavior expectations, e.g. timekeeping, timeous completion of timesheets, Company Policies and Procedures, etc.<\/p>\n<p>Requirements:<\/p>\n<p>\tStrong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.<br \/>\n\tBachelor&#8217;s degree in a relevant field (Business, Marketing, Advertising, or related discipline).<br \/>\n\t2-3 years of experience in account management or sales, preferably within an advertising agency environment.<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( http:\/\/www.tbwa.co.za ) or<\/p>\n<p>tbwa.mcidirecthire.com<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"http:\/\/tbwa.mcidirecthire.com","_company_name":"TBWA South Africa","_company_website":"http:\/\/www.tbwa.co.za","_company_tagline":"TBWA is The Disruption Company: the cultural engine for 21st century business.
