What You Bring<\/p>\n
This is a role for a seasoned compliance professional who has:<\/p>\n
\tA Bachelor\u2019s degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (postgraduate qualification advantageous).
\n\tRegistration as an accredited compliance practitioner with the Compliance Institute of South Africa.
\n\tCurrently operating as a senior member of a Compliance team, ideally within a JSE-listed environment.
\n\tA minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience in a compliance, legal, or regulatory role, preferably in the Retail or FMCG sector.
\n\tStrong knowledge of relevant South African and Swaziland legislation, JSE compliance frameworks, and corporate governance requirements.
\n\tProven experience in policy development, corporate governance, and rolling out employee training programmes.
\n\tExceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage across senior leadership levels.
\n\tA proactive, analytical mindset with strong policy interpretation and report-writing abilities.
\n\tSolid proficiency with IT systems, regulatory portals, and delivering formal presentations to committees and stakeholders.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
As our Compliance Manager, you will:<\/p>\n
\tDesign and maintain a comprehensive regulatory universe aligned to Boxer\u2019s operating activities.
\n\tDevelop and implement compliance programmes in line with the Combined Risk Assurance model.
\n\tReview, draft, and manage Group-wide policies, including renewal cycles and updates for relevant Committees.
\n\tOversee the implementation and monitoring of policies across all departments and sites.
\n\tServe as a key member of the Audit, Risk & Compliance Committee, presenting quarterly updates.
\n\tFulfil the statutory role of Information Officer, ensuring POPIA and PAIA compliance and timely reporting.
\n\tDrive the rollout of compliance training and awareness initiatives across the business.<\/p>\n
