Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tEnsure the health, safety, and environmental performance of the assigned work package or work packages.
\n\tOversee the technical development, design, procurement, and delivery of the assigned construction and supply package\/s.
\n\tDeliver the work package scope, including construction, within the expected timeframe, budget, and quality standards.
\n\tIdentify and manage project and\/or work package risks while ensuring compliance with all applicable standards and procedures.
\n\tMaintain strong and professional relationships with clients built on trust.
\n\tManage work package contracts including the primary client contract in accordance with the general contract conditions.
\n\tLead monthly work package progress and contract meetings.
\n\tLead weekly project technical and\/or construction progress meetings, record minutes, and distribute them accordingly.
\n\tOperate within a matrix project structure, utilizing construction managers, project controls managers, and associated staff to execute deliverables.
\n\tEnsure cost recovery in alignment with contractual agreements.
\n\tPromote and enforce a zero-tolerance policy for workplace harm.
\n\tImplement and maintain quality management systems at all times.
\n\tIntegrate activities of engineers, designers, specialists, contractors, and project members to align with project scope and objectives.
\n\tEnsure only approved work is executed within the defined scope.
\n\tManage activities to ensure adherence to the project schedule.
\n\tSupervise, motivate, and develop staff while resolving conflicts effectively.
\n\tApply strict cost and schedule controls to maintain budget adherence.
\n\tCommunicate essential project information to stakeholders promptly, ensuring transparency on progress and challenges.
\n\tIdentify, assess, and mitigate risks through proactive planning and control measures.
\n\tOversee the procurement technical pack compilation process for the assigned project package\/s.
\n\tImplement and ensure compliance with the quality management system.
\n\tMonitor and control time, cost, and performance to meet work package contractual obligations.
\n\tEnsure all work is authorized and backed by contractual documentation.
\n\tMotivate and maintain discipline among team members.
\n\tEnsure accurate and timely invoicing for services rendered to the client.
\n\tSupport behavioural-based safety policies and take a leadership role in promoting SHE (Safety, Health, and Environment) best practices.
\n\tCoordinate, direct, and oversee civil engineering team activities to exceed client expectations.
\n\tCollaborate with the client in defining work package scope and aligning construction deliverables with overall business goals.
\n\tRespond promptly to client needs, changes, and demands.
\n\tImplement procedures for managing and controlling work package scope changes (including Safety, Cost, Time and Quality).
\n\tLead and manage the civil engineering team in alignment with GIBB Mining\u2019s vision, values, and code of ethics.<\/p>\n
\u00a0Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tBSc \/ BEng \/ BTech Engineering (Civil Engineering)
\n\tPMP \/ PrCPM \/ PRINCE II<\/p>\n
\u00a0Experience:<\/p>\n
\tAt least 10 years of Design, Project Management and Civil Works Construction Management contract administration experience within an EPCM environment focused on mining projects.<\/p>\n
