Malander is seeking a dedicated and organised Bookkeeper for our client based in Woodstock, Cape Town. The ideal candidate would need to be based in Cape Town and available to start immediately.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tMaintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including ledgers, invoices, receipts, and payments;
\n\tProcess and manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections;
\n\tPerform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records;
\n\tHandle payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant regulations;
\n\tPrepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports;
\n\tAssist in budgeting and forecasting activities;
\n\tEnsure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements;
\n\tManage and maintain the general ledger;
\n\tAssist with internal and external audits as needed;<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience;
\n\tDiploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
\n\tProficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage);
\n\tStrong attention to detail and accuracy;
\n\tExcellent organisational and time-management skills;
\n\tStrong verbal and written communication skills;
\n\tAbility to identify and resolve discrepancies and issues;
\n\tMaintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information;<\/p>\n
