{"id":12666,"date":"2025-06-30T16:00:19","date_gmt":"2025-06-30T16:00:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/human-capital-lead-operations\/"},"modified":"2025-10-01T00:24:25","modified_gmt":"2025-10-01T00:24:25","slug":"human-capital-lead-operations","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/?post_type=job_listing&p=12666","title":{"rendered":"Human Capital Lead: Operations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Job Description<\/p>\n<p>iqbusiness has an exciting opportunity within the Human Capital team.<\/p>\n<p>\tThe Human Capital Lead: Operations role is a senior management level role, reporting to the Human Capital Executive at iqbusiness.<br \/>\n\tThis role is responsible for the overall Human Capital operations management.<br \/>\n\tThe role also supports, guides and counsels the Human Capital team members in terms of operational execution as well as consults and influences business leaders and team members through the Human Capital related projects being implemented.<\/p>\n<p>The role requires delivery of the full Human Capital value chain by providing a comprehensive Human Capital service to the business through partnering with line management to understand their Human Capital needs and facilitating the operational Human Capital activities in the following domain areas:<\/p>\n<p>\tTalent Attraction<br \/>\n\tTalent Development<br \/>\n\tTalent Retention<br \/>\n\tThe successful candidate should have previous in-depth experience in the full end-to-end Human Capital value chain having previously functioned as a Human Capital\/HR Manager for several years before expanding their experience and expertise into Human Capital operations management and managing a team of Human Capital professionals to deliver on the end-to-end employee life cycle.<br \/>\n\tThe successful candidate will ensure close collaboration exists to build open channels of communication with all stakeholders to meet business goals and objectives. Ensure sound governance and compliance with approved policies and legislative requirements, thereby mitigating Human Capital risks effectively.<\/p>\n<p>Key Responsibilities and Output Areas Include:<\/p>\n<p>\tBuild trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, leaders and team members in the business to guide, advise and counsel on people-related matters<br \/>\n\tImplement Human Capital plans and actions aligned to the business strategy<br \/>\n\tManage a team of Human Capital Business Partners and Support team members to deliver on the Human Capital mandate, actions and plans in the business<br \/>\n\tDrive the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion initiatives of the company<br \/>\n\tEmbed talent management across the company through strategic initiatives, including talent acquisition, development, retention, performance management and succession planning<br \/>\n\tSupport and implement the human capital integration requirements of the acquisition businesses into the core business<br \/>\n\tImplement and enhance the governance and risk framework for the Human Capital function (processes, procedures, policies, employee relations, discipline management) and work with related functions as required (e.g. Legal, Occupational Health and Safety, Finance)<br \/>\n\tResponsible for Human Capital policies review, revision and update<br \/>\n\tManagement of Human Capital service providers in line with Finance\/procurement requirements<br \/>\n\tEstablish and maintain the Human Capital dashboards and reports per business requirements, in collaboration with MIS specialists<br \/>\n\tEnsure statutory and company reporting requirements are met on time and accurately<br \/>\n\tKeep abreast of relevant employment and labour legislation and trends aimed at managing organisational change, employee engagement, increasing organisational effectiveness and best practices<\/p>\n<p>Education<\/p>\n<p>\tDegree in Human Resource or a related field from an accredited institution (e.g. industrial psychology)<br \/>\n\tHonours Degree in Human Resources or related field \/ relevant post graduate qualification advantageous<br \/>\n\tAdvanced MS Excel<\/p>\n<p>Experience and Skills required<\/p>\n<p>\t8 years of experience in end-to-end Human Capital management.<br \/>\n\t4 years of managerial experience.<br \/>\n\tGood knowledge of labour relations legislation, including but not limited to: BCEA, LRA, EEA, Skills Development Act and BBBEE legislation<br \/>\n\tProven track record of HC generalist skills with an in-depth understanding of the many different responsibilities of the function (Talent attraction and acquisition, performance management, learning and development, talent and succession management, reward, compensation and benefits to exit management)<br \/>\n\tProficient in MS Office with advanced MS Excel skills for report consolidation purposes:<br \/>\n\tWord (Intermediate)<br \/>\n\tPowerPoint (Intermediate)<br \/>\n\tOutlook (Intermediate)<br \/>\n\tSharePoint (Intermediate)<br \/>\n\tExcel (Advanced)<br \/>\n\tTeams (Intermediate)<br \/>\n\tCommunication skills \u2013 delivering the strategies of the business will require you to engage with and influence stakeholders from around the business and across levels. As such, you will need to be able to present effectively to different levels of seniority.<br \/>\n\tLeadership \u2013 you will be working with line managers to deliver the function\u2019s strategy.
