JG Afrika is looking for a BIM Modeller to undertake BIM modelling, draughting or detailing and to support civil engineering teams\/ projects.
\nThe successful applicant must ensure technically sound, quality support that is timeous and within budget.
\nThey must also continuously learn and adapt to new BIM skills and workflows as new digital tools are developed.<\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tUndertake given tasks within time allocation \/ budget.
\n\tWork in a dynamic environment and adapt to frequent project changes.
\n\tWork effectively as part of a team or independently with minimal oversight.
\n\tInterpret and communicate information of a complex technical nature,
\n\tTake responsibility for communicating with project team members on the status of their tasks and assignments and continuous basis.
\n\tEnsure project output complies with current draughting and annotation codes, standards, industry requirements etc.
\n\tUndertake given tasks in accordance with JG Afrika\u2019s QMS & OHS requirements,
\n\tParticipate in Mentoring and coaching of (internal) staff, Internal skills development, knowledge sharing\/skills transfer, innovation and keeping up with industry standards changes.
\n\tUnderstand and Apply the Document Management System to all documents and deliverables for projects assigned to individual, and ensure all documents issued externally to company align with the Document Management and Transmittal system standards and required.
\n\tWork with others to develop, maintain and improve on existing workflows to continuously strive for higher levels of efficiency.<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tNational Senior Certificate
\n\tMulti-Disciplinary Draughting National Certificate
\n\tValid Driver\u2019s Licence.
\n\tAutoDesk Certified Professional in Civil3D<\/p>\n
Experience:<\/p>\n
\tMust have 2 \u2013 5 years of experience within the civil engineering space.<\/p>\n
Skills:<\/p>\n
\tAble to learn and to develop new skills and workflows for new digital tools.
\n\tProficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D
\n\tExperience working with Revit
\n\tExperience working with AutoDesk Dynamo or similar (Advantageous)
\n\tProficient in BIM360 (Advantageous)
\n\tStrong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
\n\tExcellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment<\/p>\n
