Primary Function:<\/p>\n
\tPrepare and present various community Emergency Management Services (EMS) intervention programs intended to provide life safety education and skills for target groups and to actively liaise with the public and media at special events and incidents to provide information and education and foster positive perceptions.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Key Performance Areas:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tBe actively involved in a major incident\/disaster within Operations or similar activities on request from relevant Authorities.\u00a0
\n\tPromote EMS through public information campaigns, education, training and liaison with communities.\u00a0
\n\tGathering, analysis and communication of EMS information and data.\u00a0
\n\tProvide advice on evacuation and conducting fire risk assessments.\u00a0
\n\tEstablish viable partnerships with communities and liaison with communities.\u00a0
\n\tIdentify and deal with ethical issues and conflicts of interest.\u00a0<\/p>\n
