{"id":12748,"date":"2025-07-01T14:00:12","date_gmt":"2025-07-01T14:00:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/business-development-manager-branch-manager-rustenburg-mafikeng-branch-manager-vryburg\/"},"modified":"2025-10-02T00:24:11","modified_gmt":"2025-10-02T00:24:11","slug":"business-development-manager-branch-manager-rustenburg-mafikeng-branch-manager-vryburg","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/?post_type=job_listing&p=12748","title":{"rendered":"Business Development Manager \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Branch Manager &#8211; Rustenburg\/Mafikeng \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Branch Manager &#8211; Vryburg \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Branch Manager &#8211; Rustenburg\/Mafikeng \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Retail Branch Manager- Kwa Mashu"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Job Purpose<\/p>\n<p>\tThe Business Development Manager will be responsible for prospecting, sourcing, developing, and maintaining a specialised Investment Intermediary portfolio, and developing and\/or increasing Sanlam Group\u2019s market share of retail investment business from this portfolio, whilst delivering on the Glacier Partner Absa (GPA) Investment Channel strategy.<br \/>\n\tThis role will be responsible for servicing Johannesburg and surrounding areas.<\/p>\n<p>Key Outcomes<\/p>\n<p>The following outcomes will be expected to be achieved by the Business Development Manager:<\/p>\n<p>Targets and inflows<\/p>\n<p>\tService an existing GPA supporting Intermediary client base<br \/>\n\tSource and introduce new Intermediaries to Glacier<br \/>\n\tSupport and collaborate with all the relevant Broker Corporate Businesses and Independent Intermediary businesses<br \/>\n\tAttract new business and increase retention of existing investment business for the GPA Local, Glacier International, Structured and Guaranteed Products<br \/>\n\tEnsure that profitable annual sales volumes and monthly targets are met by directly and actively growing and managing an Intermediary Portfolio<br \/>\n\tEnsure intermediaries adherence to all regulatory requirements (e.g. FAIS, FICA. POPIA)<\/p>\n<p>Growing the business<\/p>\n<p>\tDevelop and implement a business plan for the GPA (sales volumes, investment education and training, marketing, and client services \u2013 administration, digital usage of GPA system, and growing the support base)<br \/>\n\tImplementing an Intermediary support model to facilitate effective and efficient support between GPA, the Broker, and the various product and service provider<\/p>\n<p>Knowledge and education<\/p>\n<p>\tTrain, educate, and develop the Intermediary\u2019s and Intermediary\u2019s support staff on all GPA (Local | International | Structured Products | Guaranteed Products)<br \/>\n\tTrain and facilitate the use of GPA\u2019s digital strategy\/tools and EI.<br \/>\n\tSupply accurate investment, product, fund, services and investor information<br \/>\n\tFacilitate or identify Intermediary needs \u2013 technical information, technology, reporting and developing a profitable practice<\/p>\n<p>Marketing and Sales initiatives<\/p>\n<p>\tSupport investment projects and campaigns (marketing support)<br \/>\n\tParticipate in investment product implementation (presentations, product development &amp;
