\n\tWe are seeking an experienced ENA (Day shift) our facility Noordhoek Manor in the Southern Suburbs to assist in our healthcare facility.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:<\/p>\n
Handover Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tParticipate in handover by verbally communicating resident observations and recording them in the handover book.
\n\tAct on reports from the previous shift during handover.
\n\tConduct regular observations and interventions based on ECP care plans, including:
\n\tCatheter care
\n\tPressure care
\n\tBlood pressure monitoring
\n\tIntake and output monitoring
\n\tPulse and temperature checks
\n\tOxygen saturation levels
\n\tHb and Hgt monitoring
\n\tUrine testing
\n\tWeighing residents
\n\tAdministering eye drops<\/p>\n
Clinical Duties:<\/p>\n
\tPerform all wound dressings as prescribed in the care plan, documenting and reporting wound progress.
\n\tImmediately communicate any changes in a patient\u2019s condition to the Shift Leader.
\n\tPerform any other clinical tasks within the scope of practice as directed by the Shift Leader.<\/p>\n
ECP (Electronic Care Plan):<\/p>\n
\tLog all actions according to the care plan in the ECP system.
\n\tProvide input to the Shift Leader for potential amendments to care plans.
\n\tComplete total intake and output charts at the end of each shift and record them in the ECP system.<\/p>\n
Administration and Reporting:<\/p>\n
\tManage and replenish nappy stock as needed.
\n\tRecord all tasks accurately in the ECP system.
\n\tEnsure the handover book is completed thoroughly.
\n\tReport all duties and concerns to the Shift Leader promptly.<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tQualifications – Qualified and SANC registered as Nursing Auxiliary (ENA)
\n\tExperience and Knowledge \u2013 Experience in Neuro, Stroke, Orthopaedics, and Geriatrics, as well as experience within Sub Acute environments advantageous
\n\tSkills and Attributes – Strong interpersonal skills, professional communication, ability to work under pressure, make sound decisions, computer literate, professional, focused, well-spoken, neat, be able to converse with people on different levels – staff, families.<\/p>\n
