Product Research and Development<\/p>\n
\tConduct research on products and or services including reviews of local and international products and prepares submissions to the Product Development Committee (to be established) and obtain approval from EXCO.
\n\tAssess the viability of the product \/ service and how it meets specific customer needs and covers all aspects that go into making a product \/ service a success.\u00a0 Champion the conduct of feasibility studies of all potential products and services\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0
\n\tEnsure that the proposals are fully costed, and new business potential is taken into account.
\n\tEstablish the requirements for customer services and staffing required to support the potential product or service
\n\tPropose a detailed training plan to up skill all stakeholders on the knowledge of the product \/ service.
\n\tEvaluate and provide proposals on the enhancement of current products and services including analysis and recommendations on the sustainability of existing products and services.<\/p>\n
Implementation and roll out of the new products and services.<\/p>\n
\t\u00a0Member of the Projects team to contribute to the implementation of new products and services.<\/p>\n
Innovation and ideas generation<\/p>\n
\tAssist with the innovation and ideas generation through structured initiatives such as presentations, surveys and make recommendations regarding ideas \/ innovation for implementation.
\n\tPartner with the marketing department in order to propose new innovative ideas that will meet customer needs for products and services.
\n\tPlay an active role in monitoring ABG\u2019s Products Intelligence and Database
\n\tParticipate in Albaraka Bank Groups Centre for Excellence in Product Development<\/p>\n

QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n
\tAppropriate Tertiary Qualification – B. Comm, Marketing, IT, or other relevant degree \/ qualification.
\n\tQualification in Research and Development and or Project Management will be an added advantage.<\/p>\n
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\tMinimum of 3 years\u2019 experience in the Banking environment.
\n\tPreferably with experience in project management.<\/p>\n
