Minimum Qualification \/ Experience:<\/p>\n
\tDiploma\/Degree in Blasting\/Mining or civil Engineering
\n\tDMRE Opencast Blasting Ticket.
\n\tMQA Surface Rock Breaking Certificate. 01\/07\/2009 to 31\/05\/2017
\n\tMinimum of 5-7 years\u2019 drilling and blasting within the mining industry.
\n\tMinimum of 2 years\u2019 experience in a supervising or management of a team role
\n\tExperience with the use of electronic and pyrotechnic initiation systems.
\n\tExcellent communication skills both written and verbal.
\n\tPlanning and detailed execution of plans.
\n\tSafety driven, effective multi \u2013 tasking and problem-solving skills.
\n\tProficient in Microsoft Office.
\n\tProficient in Blast map III Blasting Software.
\n\tAble to multitask<\/p>\n
Duties and responsibilities (not limited to)<\/p>\n
\tManage and handling day-to-day operations of the drilling and blasting on site
\n\tDevelop and implementing Site-specific drilling and blasting plans
\n\tBlasting scheduling to ensure that workplace safety, explosives handling, storage, and transport protocols are adhered to.
\n\tMonitor and ensure quality control in drilling and blasting, assessing blast outcomes, fragmentation and environmental impact.
\n\tPreparing regular weekly and monthly reports.
\n\tLead, mentor and train a team of drilling and blasting personal fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety
\n\tAssist the PM Department with recruitment, onboarding, payroll and Disciplinary actions
\n\tEnsure all equipment is properly maintained and all records are in order.
\n\tBe willing to travel to other sites and operations.
\n\tEstablishing sound relationships with all stakeholders<\/p>\n
