Job Description<\/p>\n
\tAs the Revenue Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing revenue strategies to maximize the profitability of the hotel.
\n\tYou will work closely with the sales, marketing, and reservations teams to forecast demand, set pricing strategies, and optimize inventory to drive revenue growth.<\/p>\n
What you will be doing:<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and implement revenue strategies to increase profitability of the hotel
\n\tAnalyse market trends and competition to identify opportunities for revenue growth
\n\tWork with the sales and marketing teams to develop pricing strategies for room rates, packages, and promotions
\n\tMonitor demand patterns and adjust inventory levels to optimize revenue and occupancy
\n\tConduct regular revenue meetings with hotel management and provide insights and recommendations on revenue performance
\n\tDevelop and maintain accurate revenue forecasts to support budgeting and financial planning
\n\tMonitor and manage distribution channels to ensure rate parity and maximize revenue
\n\tCollaborate with the reservations team to optimize yield and manage room inventory
\n\tMonitor and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue and occupancy, and adjust strategies as needed
\n\tEnsure compliance with hotel pricing policies and revenue management best practices<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tExcellent communication and interpersonal skills
\n\tMust be service oriented and capable of communicating effectively with persons involved in all levels of authority, both internally and externally.
\n\tAbility to think strategically and develop innovative revenue strategies
\n\tStrong analytical skills and ability to analyze data and trends
\n\tProficient in Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel and other analytical tools
\n\tKnowledge of revenue management systems, hotel reservations systems, and distribution channels
\n\tKnowledge of market segmentation and demand forecasting techniques
\n\tUnderstanding of hotel financial statements and budgeting processes
\n\tHighly organized with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously<\/p>\n
Education:<\/p>\n
\tBachelor’s degree in Hotel Management, Accounting, Finance, Mathematics, or Business Management preferred<\/p>\n
Experience:<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 3 years of progressive experience in revenue management, preferably within a luxury or resort hotel environment.
\n\tExperience in destination resorts strongly preferred.<\/p>\n
