Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Systems and Process Management<\/p>\n
\tEnsuring that the Financial systems (ERP and Reporting) are operating effectively across all entities in the appropriate area of responsibility
\n\tInvestigate and recommend solutions to improve operational efficiencies in the team (i.e. better use of data imports etc)
\n\tLiaise with BI to ensure that the transactional data received is relevant, accurate, complete and received on time.
\n\tReview reporting to ensure that all the relevant dimensions are posted.
\n\tEnsure that appropriate processes are in place in order to identify potential problems and escalate when required.
\n\tAttend weekly Ops meetings to ensure that all issues and queries are being addressed and escalated based on priority.
\n\tEnsure appropriate processes are in place to ensure that the team operates efficiently and meets group deadlines.<\/p>\n
Cash Flow Management Support<\/p>\n
\tVarious Cash flow forecasting
\n\tAnalysis of actual performance versus forecasts
\n\tDaily cash flow management and reporting
\n\tWeekly and monthly cash flow reporting to various stakeholders
\n\tAd hoc projects identified by Management<\/p>\n
Team Management<\/p>\n
\tCommunicate clearly and effectively at all levels, both internally and externally.
\n\tOpenly communicate with managers and team members to ensure that all key deliverables are met on time and accurately and any queries are resolved timeously.
\n\tEffectively feed information to required members of the team to ensure all important updates are understood and adhered to.
\n\tManage others\u02bc expectations appropriately and proactively communicate any potential problems.
\n\tProvide guidance, mentoring and support to all direct reports to ensure that each team is working efficiently and cohesively.
\n\tDaily team management and assistance.
\n\tBi-annual KPI setting of objectives with teams.
\n\tBi-annual appraisals of team members<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tBachelor of Accounting \/ Bachelor of Accounting Science or equivalent
\n\tCA(SA) \/ CIMA \/ MBA preferable
\n\tMinimum 2 years finance management experience<\/p>\n
Further skills required<\/p>\n
\tExcellent writing skills
\n\tExcellent analytical skills
\n\tAbility to think critically
\n\tAdvanced Excel capabilities
\n\tAbility to collaborate with various departments
\n\tArticles preferable
\n\tWillingness and ability to motivate and guide junior colleagues
\n\tExperience in Navision (beneficial)
\n\tKnowledge of IFRS
\n\tCommitment to continuous learning<\/p>\n
