Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tDrive cost-effective sourcing for assigned commodities through detailed market evaluation (local and international).
\n\tManage tenders from demand identification to sourcing recommendations and order placements.
\n\tConduct price negotiations, supplier assessments (technical and financial), and performance management.
\n\tHandle contract management, including B-BBEE and ISO certifications, PQCs, and documentation for audit compliance.
\n\tDevelop supplier relationships, support process improvement (e.g., outline agreements), and ensure compliant procurement processes.
\n\tCollaborate across organisational levels and maintain structured tracking of multiple priorities and deadlines.
\n\tUse tools like SAP, Excel, PowerPoint, and adopt a project management approach to procurement tasks.<\/p>\n
Required Qualifications & Skills:<\/p>\n
\tNational Diploma or Degree in Administration, Commercial, Purchasing, Engineering, or BCom (or equivalent).
\n\tStrong analytical, negotiation, communication, and business writing skills.
\n\tProficient in SAP and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint).
\n\tUnderstanding of Integrated Management Systems, B-BBEE, ESD, TISAX, and ISO compliance.
\n\tAbility to operate independently and manage multiple projects with a solution-oriented mindset.<\/p>\n
