Post Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tA recognized B Degree (NQF level 7) plus relevant Masters Degree.
\n\tExperience:\u00a07-10 years senior\/ executive management experience, three (3) years of which must be in driving economic development, infrastructure development, growth management and\/or investment attraction and retention programmes of a medium to large sized organization or a government department. Previous experience as the Chief Executive Officer will be an added advantage.
\n\tPrevious experience in agriculture, agri-business and agro-processing, strategic development and asset management.<\/p>\n
Key Performance Areas:<\/p>\n
\tAct as the ADA\u2019s Accounting Officer and drive the implementation of the ADA\u2019s strategy.
\n\tProvide strategic leadership and overall management of the ADA\u2019s operations.
\n\tProvide advice and support to the Board.
\n\tEnsure sound governance and administration.
\n\tDevelopment and implementation of organizational structure and service delivery model.
\n\tManage and oversee the required interaction between the ADA and relevant oversight structures.
\n\tInitiate viable high impact economic development projects
\n\tImplement effective linkages with core stakeholders and investors in Agriculture and Agribusiness.
\n\tLeverage \/ source funding and technical support from sector partners and donors.
\n\tParticipation in Radical Socio-economic Transformation programmes and initiatives.
\n\tFacilitation and implementation of Innovation, Research and Development.
\n\tEnsure interface between the Board and the entity Executive.
\n\tDevelopment and management of effective and efficient Information Management Systems.
\n\tImplementation of effective, efficient and economical financial planning, management and reporting systems.<\/p>\n
