Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tEnsuring that HSE operational standards are established, implemented, maintained and address the areas of occupational, environmental and quality risk
\n\tEnsuring that incident\/accident reporting is adequate and effective in addressing risk and adequate in terminating or reducing the exposed risk
\n\tCoordinate HSE activities and report on the performance to the company
\n\tDevelop, implement and monitor HSE strategies, policies and programmes that promote better ways to ensure the success of the organization for all stakeholders
\n\tCoordinate the identification of significant environmental impacts, Occupational Safety and Health Risk\u2019s, Quality defects, and examine corporate activities to establish where and how improvements can be made and ensure compliance with HSE legislation and other requirements across the organisation.
\n\tCoordinate the management of continuous improvement within the HSE organization by ensuring that operational standards are established, implemented and maintained and that rigorous processes continually improving the provision of service, quality of process and product, and the mitigation safety, health and environment risk are followed.
\n\tReview the HSE systems and operations, carrying out HSE audits and assessments, identifying and effectively resolving HSE non-conformities and acting as agent of change
\n\tAdvise in the selection of skills and education programmes for employees at all levels and affirm that the workforce recognize their own contributions to improved HSE performance.
\n\tCoordinate, implement and maintain strategies to protect and reduce loss of assets through good Security Management in line with applicable legislation and other requirements in a continual changing insecure environment.
\n\tEnsuring compliance to Legal requirements.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience Required<\/p>\n
\t\u00a0Bachelor\u2019s degree in Health\/Environmental\/Safety management or related qualification
\n\tCertification in SAMTRAC\/SHEMTRAC
\n\tQualified Lead Internal Auditor would be beneficial
\n\t\u00a0ISO 14001 & 5001 certification
\n\t\u00a0GMR2 certificate would be beneficial<\/p>\n
Experience (years):<\/p>\n
\tMinimum of 8 years\u2019 experience in HSE Management Systems
\n\tWorking in a manufacturing environment
\n\tExperience in the automotive industry would be beneficial
\n\t4 Years Leadership experience<\/p>\n
