PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES<\/p>\n
\tThe S\/4HANA Senior Finance Consultant will act as trusted partner to our customers on their journey to the cloud, from scoping and planning of the initial deployment to continuous value engineering.
\n\tThe Senior consultant role requires deep understanding of the cloud business model, the ERP processes across functional borders, as well as a service-oriented attitude with the aim to achieve customer delight.<\/p>\n
EXPECTATION AND TASKS<\/p>\n
\tAs SAP Premium Hub Center of Expertise (CoE) consultant, you will support EMEA customers on their SAP S\/4HANA adoption projects; as well as live customers that need to optimize business process, monitor operations, upgrade existing systems, etc., through the support from SAP Premium Engagement services.
\n\tThe CoE Senior S\/4HANA Finance Consultant must be able to accompany customers executing S\/4HANA implementation projects with SAP Partners, or SAP led.
\n\tThe Consultant will provide guidance and support across all SAP Activate phases to ensure a successful S\/4HANA implementation project
\n\tYour role involves delivery of technical and application services within customer engagements.
\n\tYou need excellent SAP Finance Software skills, and you are a decent problem solver with the ability to communicate effectively in an international environment.<\/p>\n
According to your experience, strengths and customer needs, you will conduct some of the following tasks:<\/p>\n
\tPrepare, design, realize and support Go-Lives for customer implementation projects
\n\tSupport feasibility studies and process design reviews
\n\tDetailed planning of process implementation
\n\tDetailed blueprinting for development requirements
\n\tDevelop and Assure quality of process models
\n\tDemonstrate profound knowledge of modeling standards and tools
\n\tSupport the development of overall project plans (scoping process) as well as individual work plans; acting as liaison with client for troubleshooting (investigates, analyses, and solves software problems)
\n\tAnalyze and map clients\u2019 business requirements, processes and objectives; develop necessary product modifications to satisfy clients\u2019 needs.
\n\tSupport the Services Organization with implementation projects, pre-sales support (estimating), spot consulting and internal projects and commit to the success of customers, partners, colleagues, and SAP
\n\tLive and breath the cloud business model and the subsequent implications in regard to the implementation & post-implementation service business
\n\tEnsure customer success, satisfaction, and reference ability for S\/4HANA Cloud customer
\n\tArticulate the S\/4HANA Cloud business capabilities and value, differentiate S\/4HANA Cloud and On-Premise solutions
\n\tFollow the methodology, tools, and processes to ensure successful customer adoption
\n\tDeliver agile services in a fast-changing environment
\n\tSupport the industrialization of the implementation process
\n\tUnderstand and practice value-based \u201cfit to standard\u201d delivery approach
\n\tPosition and Deliver transition roadmaps between on-prem and Cloud solutions
\n\tDrive the adoption of the value based innovation roadmap and guide the customer in their journey
\n\tKnow and build business process according to Industry Best Practices, empowering a standard mindset to live in
\n\tCollaboration with internal\/external consultants as part of the platform growth and solution providing
\n\tDrive and deliver customer conversations with focus on BUSINESS OUTCOMES
\n\tIn the Discover and Prepare phases, the consultant must demonstrate business benefits to adopt S\/4HANA, provide recommendations about best transition path and support customers on architecture definitions.
\n\tPropose recommendations to optimize business processes in Deploy phase, from a technical and functional perspectives.
\n\tSupport customer to address issues reported during Run and operation phases.
\n\tSupport business processes continuous improvement once customer is operating S\/4HANA.<\/p>\n
MANDATORY SKILLS<\/p>\n
\tIn addition to a bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, Finance or related discipline, and a minimum of 10+ years\u2019 progressive experience, the successful candidate will possess:
\n\tGood Communication skills
\n\tDelivery experience in agile methodology (e.g. SAP Activate)
\n\tExperience in Change and Value Management and Realization
\n\tConsulting delivery skills (hands-on & project management)
\n\tAdaptability and flexibility to manage deadline pressure, ambiguity and change.
\n\tActs as a Senior Trusted Advisor to the customer\u2019s Finance department, covering the entire company of a big\/complex, multinational Finance Processes end-to-end
\n\tCertifications in S\/4HANA Finance or S\/4HANA Architecture are a must
\n\tDefines Finance Strategies, Governance and Finance Process Architecture based on state-of-the art of S4HANA Cloud \u2013 On premise Finance technology
\n\tDefines the strategic, conceptual, and technical boundaries for the design of the SAP S4HANA Finance processes, supporting the accounting principles and localizations solutions required by the customer. Can address the organization as well as the procedures of customers\u2019 Finance departments with a focus on high efficiency, stability and performance.<\/p>\n
Cross industry experience<\/p>\n
\tStrong writing, mentoring, decision making, communication, and meeting facilitation skills; ability to utilize a combination of formal authority and persuasion skill sets.
\n\tExceptional leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills; the ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience; competence in clear concise and tactful communication with senior executive management, clients, peers and team members.<\/p>\n
Professional Experience<\/p>\n
\t10+ years of professional experience; demonstrated knowledge \/ expertise of at least one industry \/ solution segment, preferable S4HANA Finance experience
\n\tExpected Travel: 0% – 70%<\/p>\n
PREFERABLE SKILLS<\/p>\n
\tPMP or SAP Activate Certification will be preferred.
\n\tRelevant Finance and Accounting Certifications
\n\tCommunication in German Language is plus.
\n\tKnowledge of cloud, Hosted Services, and SaaS\/ PaaS models, RISE are plus.<\/p>\n
