Purpose of the role<\/p>\n
\tContribute to customer satisfaction and to the overall results of the department.
\n\tTo serve as a leader and role model for the Customer Assistants. Support and assist the Head of department.<\/p>\n
Main Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tLead and support a team of Customer Assistants.
\n\tBe a player in the development of collective performance.
\n\tShare information and facilitate communication within the team.
\n\tDevelop the team to meet strategic business objectives.
\n\tManage daily sales and customer relations.
\n\tBuild and implement the Business Action Plan of the department.
\n\tIntroduce efficiency, improvement measures for an optimal return and stakeholder value.
\n\tEnsure the day-to-day management of the department is to respect the customer promise.
\n\tCoordinate and contribute to the sales activities in store.
\n\tEnsure quality customer relationship (internal and external).
\n\tDevelop and update own skills and knowledge.
\n\tAssume leadership role on behalf of the HOD when the HOD is not available.
\n\tParticipate in teamwork to ensure quality service and productivity of the store.
\n\tEnsuring optimal staff is available for delivering excellent customer service to all customers.
\n\tTraining and developing of staff members.<\/p>\n

\tProfile<\/p>\n
The successful candidate should have the following skills, experience and attributes:<\/p>\n
\tMinimum Matric or NQF4 Equivalent.
\n\tRelevant tertiary qualification will be an added advantage.
\n\tPrevious retail experience at a junior management level.
\n\tExcellent interpersonal skills.
\n\tA team builder and a team player.
\n\tExcellent customer service
\n\tSelf-confident, hardworking and leads by example.
\n\tCustomer-centric.
\n\tSense of responsibility.
\n\tAnalytical.
