Duties include, but are not limited to: –<\/p>\n
\tConducting IP audits
\n\tReviewing trade mark portfolios and making recommendations
\n\tAssist in Trade Mark filing strategy discussions and due diligence
\n\tPrepare trade mark related legal advice and opinions
\n\tManage, coordinate and attend to major trade marks clearance and filing projects throughout the world
\n\tProviding opinions, reports and quotes on the registrability of Trade Marks throughout the world, as well as any regulatory or copyright considerations
\n\tPreparing and drafting of correspondence including responses to client enquiries and all routine correspondence
\n\tPrepare and file Trade Mark applications, attending to registration and post-registration maintenance and renewals
\n\tManaging deadlines
\n\tManaging a diary
\n\tDealing with urgent matters and client requests
\n\tPreparing reports and schedules
\n\tEffect portfolio transfers and manage and develop multi-client portfolios
\n\tReport official actions, comply with official actions
\n\tAddress and assist with Classification queries
\n\tUpdating client standing instructions and A&A\u2019s records
\n\tDo research
\n\tPrepare marketing material, including articles for publication
\n\tClient visits
\n\tCommercial IP knowledge including License Agreements
\n\tAbility to attract clients and build relationships<\/p>\n

\tAdmitted attorney
\n\tTrade Marks experience
\n\tQualified Trade Marks Practitioner, in the process of being qualified (advantageous), or a real intention to qualify as a Trade Mark Practitioner
\n\tExperience of working in an IP firm (Intellectual Property) will be highly advantageous
\n\t3 \u2013 5 years post articles experience (advantageous)<\/p>\n
