{"id":13017,"date":"2025-07-04T10:00:56","date_gmt":"2025-07-04T10:00:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/job\/sales-team-leader-tl-compliance-and-legal-department-assistant\/"},"modified":"2025-10-05T00:24:16","modified_gmt":"2025-10-05T00:24:16","slug":"sales-team-leader-tl-compliance-and-legal-department-assistant","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/jobs.dataaxisnode.com\/southafrica\/?post_type=job_listing&p=13017","title":{"rendered":"Sales Team Leader &#8211; TL \n\n\n            \n\n            \n            Compliance and Legal Department Assistant"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Key Duties &amp; Responsibilities:<\/p>\n<p>Drive Sales Strategy Planning and Execution:<\/p>\n<p>\tCollaborate with peers to define a sales business plan that will deliver revenue through selling and our products and services.<br \/>\n\tLead a team and support the Sales Managers to manage an effective and efficient omnichannel to maximize sales revenue and meet or exceed set goals.<br \/>\n\tBuild a culture of exceptional customer experience leveraging the omni-channel.<br \/>\n\tDrive the forecasting and adjustment of annual, quarterly, and monthly sales plans to ensure achievement of yearly goals.<br \/>\n\tDrive and deliver sales operational objectives through reviewing performance against sales information and making recommendations of adjustments to strategic plans.<br \/>\n\tCreate insights that will inform business plans and activities to maximize sales revenue and meet or exceed set goals.<br \/>\n\tLead a sales team of around 10 \u2013 15 agents to initiate and implement corrective actions based on insights from other departments.<br \/>\n\tCreate an effective social system and lead teams to prepare and complete action plans; implementing productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; identifying trends; and determining organisational sales system improvements.<br \/>\n\tActively lead the team to expand the customer base to close sales.<\/p>\n<p>Drive Sales Growth and Performance:<\/p>\n<p>\tManage a successful omni-channel which consistently meets or exceeds daily sales performance metrics.<br \/>\n\tCreates and maintain a world-class Sales culture, focused on delivering results by providing ongoing coaching and development of sales teams.<br \/>\n\tConsistently ensures that business is always conducted with integrity and that behaviour aligns with our values.<br \/>\n\tWorks closely with Sales Managers and Marketing to drive strategy through leads and campaign management, sales huddles and regular feedback to Management teams on performance improvements.<br \/>\n\tAnalyse performance metrics data and leverage it to effectively coach and develop the Sales team.<br \/>\n\tInitiate ideas for the development and implementation of new processes and procedures for effective and efficient team operations and ensuring these are shared with the Sales Manager to implement in other teams if effective.<br \/>\n\tCollaborate with Sales Manager and various other managers in managing performance, sales strategy and tasks in order to achieve sales targets.<br \/>\n\tLead and oversee sales activities in the team you control.<br \/>\n\tReviews effectiveness plans or direct activities such as sales promotions that require coordination with other department managers.<br \/>\n\tAssesses for opportunities for continuous improvement of execution and customer experience across the omnichannel in a cost effective, efficient, and effective manner.<br \/>\n\tContribute to channel plans or strategies.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<br \/>\n\tIdentify, design, and implement projects that will enhance effectiveness of the Sales Contact Centre over time.<br \/>\n\tEnsure integrity of governance and compliance across all spheres of operations<br \/>\n\tEnsure resources and structures supports longer term growth objectives.<br \/>\n\tManaging the poor performance in your team inline with the Company procedures and processes as defined by the Disciplinary \/ Poor performance process.<\/p>\n<p>Continuous Improvement and Reporting:<\/p>\n<p>\tProvide monthly and quarterly reporting on all relevant Sales Contact Centre indicators, illustrating trends and plans for continuous improvement. (Timing of reports may vary dependent on requirements).<br \/>\n\tReview compliance metrics, retentions and cancellations and service level performance against defined targets and metrics and course correct sales processes when necessary.<br \/>\n\tExtract productivity and performance data and reports daily, weekly, and monthly and analyse data for continuous improvement within your team.<\/p>\n<p>Leadership and Direction:<\/p>\n<p>\tProviding vision and direction to team members.<br \/>\n\tThrough effective inspirational leadership, facilitate the creation of accountable, full-service teams who understand and strive to meet the needs of all stakeholders.<br \/>\n\tRole model behaviour and motivate team members in line with the core values.<br \/>\n\tTake full responsibility for performance of all direct reports, motivating and managing them in relation to quality standards and agreed benchmarks and objectives, focusing on all aspects of sound people management.<br \/>\n\tProvide support and guidance on career path planning, on-the-job training, coaching, and mentoring to direct reports.<br \/>\n\tLeads change to creates a self-refreshing and learning organisation.<br \/>\n\tContinuous improvement of business processes.<\/p>\n<p>Work collaboratively:<\/p>\n<p>\tBuild a culture of respect and understanding across the organisation.<br \/>\n\tRecognise outcomes which resulted from effective collaboration between teams.<br \/>\n\tBuild cooperation and overcome barriers to information sharing, communication and collaboration across the organisation.<br \/>\n\tFacilitate opportunities to engage and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop joint solutions.<\/p>\n<p>Self-Management:<\/p>\n<p>\tFollow through to ensure that personal quality and productivity standards are consistently and accurately maintained.<br \/>\n\tDemonstrate consistent application of internal procedures.<br \/>\n\tPlan and prioritise, demonstrating abilities to manage competing demands.<br \/>\n\tDemonstrate abilities to anticipate and manage change.<br \/>\n\tDemonstrate flexibility in balancing achievement of own objectives with abilities to understand and respond to organizational needs.<\/p>\n<p>Key requirements of the role:<\/p>\n<p>Education &amp; Experience:<\/p>\n<p>\tGrade 12 with English and a second language (preferably of a ethnic language).<br \/>\n\tUndergraduate\/Postgraduate qualification in related field advantageous.<br \/>\n\tMinimum of 5 &#8211; 8 years client service and\/or sales experience.<br \/>\n\tPrevious call centre sales experience within a short-term insurance environment (preferred), able to manage a team effectively and motivate team members to meet required targets.<br \/>\n\t2 \u2013 3 years proven experience managing a team in a contact centre environment and or call centre will be advantageous.<\/p>\n<p>go to method of application \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>Apply via company website ( N \/ A ) or<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_promoted":"","_job_location":"","_application":"","_company_name":"Oneplan Underwriting Managers (Pty) Ltd","_company_website":"http:\/\/N%20\/%20A","_company_tagline":"At Oneplan, we live by the philosophy that insurance should make life easier, not more complicated.
