Job Summary:<\/p>\n
\tResponsible for the efficient management of stock within the seed warehouse, including accurate receiving and dispatch of goods using SAP PR2. Ensures all warehouse activities are conducted in a safe, organized, and compliant manner, with a strong focus on safety, accuracy, documentation, and quality control.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Receiving of Stock:<\/p>\n
\tAccurately receive incoming stock and verify quantities.
\n\tInspect the quality of received goods and report any discrepancies or damages.
\n\tEnsure proper documentation and recording of received stock in SAP.<\/p>\n
Dispatching of Stock:<\/p>\n
\tPrepare and dispatch orders accurately and on time.
\n\tUse SAP to manage and track inventory levels and order statuses.
\n\tCoordinate with logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of goods.<\/p>\n
Stock Management:<\/p>\n
\tMaintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock takes.
\n\tSee to it that the correct materials are discarded.
\n\tOrganize and store stock in an orderly manner to optimize space and accessibility.
\n\tMonitor stock levels and reorder supplies as necessary to prevent shortages.
\n\tBe part of the stock take team that performs the annual stock take at all warehouses.
\n\tManaging quality control by creating ISL\u2019s and shipments for samples sent to the laboratory.
\n\tAssist with dealer returns both at dealers\u2019 physical warehouses and on the SAP system.<\/p>\n
Administrative responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tWrite, revise & perform internal audits on quality procedures.
\n\tProvide training to all workers on site as per instructions when necessary.
\n\tCreate shopping carts for purchase orders on eSpree system.
\n\tMaintain WEBCYCLE to ensure accurate and timely payments to vendors.
\n\tMaintain expense claims on Concur system.
\n\tMaintain attendance records and overtime for all personnel on Replicon system.<\/p>\n
Safety Management:<\/p>\n
\tImplement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment according to Corteva\u2019s EH&S standards.
\n\tConduct regular safety inspections and address any hazards or violations.
\n\tTrain staff on proper safety procedures and the use of equipment.<\/p>\n
Qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tNational senior certificate.
\n\tAny certification in management would be advantageous.<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tProven experience in a seed warehouse management position.
\n\tProficiency in SAP PR2 and Microsoft Office suite including Power Apps.
\n\tStrong organizational and multitasking skills.
\n\tExcellent attention to detail and accuracy.
\n\tAbility to work independently and as part of a team.
\n\tGood communication and interpersonal skills.
\n\tMust be written and verbally fluent in Afrikaans and English.
\n\tAbility to lift and move heavy objects.
\n\tComfortable working in a warehouse environment.
\n\tShould not have medical allergies due to dust and pollen presence in a seed warehouse.<\/p>\n
