\tTo ensure full compliance to the requirements of the O.H.S act
\n\tAssist with appointments of Health and Safety Reps.
\n\tOngoing training and communication to facilitate a safe, hygienic and healthy work environment
\n\tFunctions and activities – general administration
\n\tMachinery and equipment
\n\tOccupational Health & hygiene
\n\tMaintain the risk programme and fulfill requirements in support of the risk department
\n\tResponsible for auditing of all the functions to ensure that the requirements are constantly met at the highest standard
\n\tCo-ordinate functions and training with the group O.H.S officer and the group Risk Manager
\n\tConduct all SHEQ and Risk training required
\n\tConduct monthly safety meetings
\n\tAssist Risk Manager if and when required
\n\tEnforce compliance to statutory regulations
\n\tTo assist with the induction and training of all new employees
\n\tTo promote a positive health and safety culture
\n\tDay to Day Health and Safety issues
\n\tDeliver toolbox talks
\n\tMonitoring of SHEQ statistics
\n\tRecording of PPE issues and monitoring their use
\n\tAll incidents\/accident reported and recorded in accordance with the company policy and legislation
\n\tProactive identification of all risks and appropriate action implemented immediately and all relevant parties informed
\n\tKPI’s are been met
\n\tParticipation on stock take preparation, planning and physical stock count.
\n\tCompliance to Good Distribution Practice Guidelines, as well as MCC and SAPC requirements.<\/p>\n

\tMatric (Grade 12) Essential
\n\tSAMTRAC\/NEBOSH\/NOSA
\n\tTertiary qualification
\n\tComputer literacy
\n\t2 year practical Health & Safety experience
\n\tOverall knowledge of the Health & Safety function
\n\tExcellent interpersonal, leadership, motivation and planning skills
\n\tAbility to work within a pressurized environment
\n\tAbility to follow work procedures and safety rules
\n\tAbility to read, understand and follow directions\/instructions
\n\tGood Analytical, Administrative & Communication skills
\n\tExcellent interpersonal, leadership, motivation and planning skills
\n\tWindows, E-mail & Accounting package proficiency
\n\tGood follow through & General Efficiency
\n\tMust be able to communicate at all levels
\n\tExcellent HR and IR skills<\/p>\n
