\tDemonstrate passion for children and their parents \/ carers
\n\tClinical competence and strong quality patient care orientation
\n\tBLS competent
\n\tSupervise and orientate junior staff members and students
\n\tPerform teaching rounds with junior staff members and students
\n\tAbility to work independently
\n\tCompetently administer oral, intramuscular and intravenous medication
\n\tCompetent in infant, toddler and child physical assessment
\n\tAssist the pediatricians during ward rounds
\n\tPerform wound care and writing care plans
\n\tDelegating tasks effectively
\n\tProviding health education to parents and patients
\n\tHigh energy levels and tolerance for stress
\n\tManagement, Planning and Organizing skills
\n\tProblem analysis\/solving skills, accurate record keeping and detail orientated
\n\tAdaptable and able to work effectively within a team
\n\tLiaison between patients, doctors and personnel
\n\t\u00a0Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels
\n\tAbility to advocate for patience
\n\tShift work compulsory
\n\tWork overtime when required

Requirements<\/p>\n
\tCurrent Registration with SANC as a Registered Nurse
\n\tMinimum 3 years\u2019 experience as a Registered Nurse in a similar environment
\n\tExperience in a Private Hospital setting
\n\tPost Basic Qualification in Midwifery or Paediatric Nursing will be advantageous<\/p>\n
