RESPONSIBILITIES:<\/p>\n
Supervising inbound\/freight receiving services by:<\/p>\n
\tProcessing agents\u2019 freight by verifying quantities, destinations, parcel conditions, and affixing destination stickers
\n\tSupervising sortation and loading in designated storage area
\n\tCapturing\/ downloading\u00a0\u00a0 and scanning waybills and parcels
\n\tEnsuring daily debriefing of collection schedules
\n\tVerifying airfreight lodging within required time frame\u00a0<\/p>\n
Supervising outbound\/dispatch services by:<\/p>\n
\tProcessing upliftment of all freight
\n\tScanning outgoing parcels\/cargo
\n\tPrinting trip sheets
\n\tSupervising loading
\n\tObtaining driver trip sheet acceptance (signature), hand waybills (copy) and record vehicle registration numbers
\n\tEnsuring collections for outlying areas are communicated and followed up on daily basis
\n\tVerifying that POD\u2019s are received within the required time frame<\/p>\n
Maintaining receiving\/dispatch workers by:<\/p>\n
\tProviding work instructions
\n\tProviding task training and developing general competence levels
\n\tMotivate the receiving and dispatch staff towards objective achievement
\n\tCommunicate inbound\/ outbound information within the warehouse<\/p>\n
REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 (Matric) minimum
\n\tDiploma in Road Transportation or Freight Management not a prerequisite but would be an advantage
\n\tIndustry specific experience is not a prerequisite, but a strong successful background in operations is required
\n\tWorking times:\u00a0Monday \u2013 Friday (07h00 \u2013 17h00)
\n\tAbility to work under pressure
\n\tAbility to communicate in English
\n\tForklift Driver License preferable
\n\tAbility to work unsupervised
\n\tReliable
\n\tHigh degree of integrity
\n\tPresentable at all times
\n\tAbility to work overtime as and when required
\n\tOwn transport to and from work<\/p>\n
