As Human Capital Manager, you will be at the heart of our mission to build a sustainable, diverse, and high-performance workforce. You will drive our people strategy, work closely with leadership, and ensure that every individual at Farm Foods is empowered to reach their full potential.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tTalent Acquisition & Development: In collaboration with the Talent Acquisition Team, lead the recruitment process aligned with seasonal demands\u00a0
\n\tEmployee Engagement & Culture: Build a vibrant company culture that inspires collaboration, creativity, and excellence.\u00a0
\n\tPerformance Management: Establish performance metrics, coach leaders on effective feedback practices, and drive a culture of accountability while supporting employees in their development journeys.
\n\tStrategic Workforce Planning: Collaborate with senior leadership to anticipate and address future workforce needs, making sure we have the right people, in the right roles, at the right time.
\n\tCompliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with local and national labor laws, and create policies that promote a safe, fair, and inclusive working environment. Develop and implement HR strategies that support productivity and compliance with labour laws (including BCEA, OHSA, and LRA)
\n\tHR Analytics & Reporting: Use data and insights to continuously improve our human capital strategy and make informed, evidence-based decisions.
\n\tLead all Human Capital (HC) operations across multiple agricultural sites
\n\tPartner with leadership to shape organizational development and succession planning<\/p>\n
What We\u2019re Looking For:<\/p>\n
To succeed in this role, you\u2019ll need more than just HR expertise\u2014you\u2019ll need a strategic mindset, a passion for leadership, and a drive to make a difference. Here\u2019s what we\u2019re looking for:<\/p>\n
\tExperience: A proven track record in HR management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role, preferably in an agriculture industry.
\n\tEducation: A Bachelor\u2019s degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, or related fields\u00a0<\/p>\n
Skills & Expertise:<\/p>\n
\tStrong understanding of South African labour laws and HR best practices
\n\tExceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
\n\tProven leadership in a multi-site, diverse workforce environment
\n\tExpertise in HR systems and analytics, with the ability to leverage data for informed decision-making.
\n\tExperience in change management, conflict resolution, and leadership development.
\n\tA proactive approach to problem-solving, with an ability to adapt quickly to changing business needs.
\n\tWillingness to be based in and travel regularly within the Northern Cape<\/p>\n
