\tHire Resolve’s client, who include construction support, insurance claim facilitation, and small\u2011contractor empowerment through financial support, is searching for a Professionally Registered Architect to join their team in Cape Town.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tEnsure adherence to cashflow and project programme
\n\tMeet all project and reporting deadlines
\n\tMaintain and update project server regularly
\n\tFile all documentation accurately and systematically
\n\tManage consultants\u2019 appointments and monitor their performance
\n\tOversee contractors\u2019 appointments and assess their performance
\n\tEnsure full compliance with internal processes and protocols
\n\tManage contracts in line with JBCC and NEC frameworks
\n\tVerify and check correctness of invoices
\n\tReview and approve invoices for payment
\n\tEvaluate appointments, additional fees, and related contractual matters
\n\tFacilitate and support successful Auditor General audits<\/p>\n
Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tStrong understanding of CIDB, PROCSA, and Professional Fee Scales
\n\tIn-depth knowledge of consultant appointments processes
\n\tEffective problem-solving through analysis and critical questioning
\n\tClear and articulate communication skills
\n\tDemonstrates resilience under pressure and maintains composure
\n\tDeadline-driven with strong processing and organizational abilities
\n\tHighly meticulous, detail-oriented, and thorough
\n\tAdheres strictly to procedures, protocols, and instructions
\n\tDisplays ethical conduct and fairness in all dealings
\n\tResults-oriented with a strong focus on outcomes
\n\tDriven to achieve goals, persistent, and ambitious in challenging environments<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tDegree in Architecture<\/p>\n
Experience<\/p>\n
\tMinimum of 5 years\u2019 experience
\n\tProven experience in the construction industry
\n\tHands-on experience in contract administration (JBCC & NEC) and financial administration
\n\tExperience in project or programme management is advantageous<\/p>\n
