The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:<\/p>\n
\tAssemble, install, maintain, and repair mechanical components and systems.
\n\tRead and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
\n\tConduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery.
\n\tDiagnose faults and ensure effective repairs are carried out.
\n\tAdhere to safety standards and company procedures at all times.
\n\tEnsure quality control and dimensional accuracy of finished parts
\n\tQualified\/Trade tested Fitter & Turner, Turner Machinist or Tool, Jig & Die Maker (Red Seal)
\n\tN3 Certificate in Engineering Fitting & Turning or similar
\n\tAt least 1 year post trade test working experience in the fitting & turning engineering or similar field
\n\tExperience with operating Conventional Milling & Turning machines (including thread cutting).
\n\tExperience with operating Surface Grinder, Pedestal Drill & Hydraulic Press.
\n\tAbility to draw, read and understand engineering drawings<\/p>\n
Qualifications and Experience Required:<\/p>\n
\tTrade tested Fitter and Turner qualification (Red Seal preferred)
\n\tDemonstrated experience in a similar role
\n\tBilingual in English and Afrikaans
\n\tExperience in engineering field either HVAC \/ ventilation \/ fans or applications is advantageous<\/p>\n
