Description<\/p>\n
\tKnowledge of the customer service, basic food production principles, managing staff development and training
\n\tSupervise staff and to attend to problems encountered at ward level
\n\tAbility to organise and co-ordinate kitchen services efficiently
\n\tShould be conscientious, reliable, honest, warm, energetic and punctual at all times
\n\tLiaising with patient queries and complaints at ward level
\n\tEnsure kitchen hygiene standards are adhered to
\n\tEnsure administrative duties are completed timeously
\n\tEnsure adherence to policies and procedures at all times
\n\tCrockery and Cutlery control
\n\tManage ad hoc projects as and when required<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12 (Matric) compulsory
\n\tMin 2 – 3 years supervisory experience in the health care \/ hospitality industry is essential
\n\tExcellent communication skills in both English and Afrikaans
\n\tExcellent interpersonal, organisational and problem-solving skills with strong Client focus
\n\tLeadership qualities and mentoring skills
\n\tPrevious Catering experience essential
\n\tGood computer skills, i.e. Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.<\/p>\n
