Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tHonours Degree in Supply Chain Management or relevant equivalent NQF Level 8 qualification
\n\tMFMA Certification
\n\t5 – 8 years’ experience in a supply chain management environment<\/p>\n
Core Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tEnsure that resources required to support the strategic objectives are delivered at the correct time, at the right price, location, quantity and quality that will satisfy the needs
\n\tPlan, organise, lead, manage, implement, control and monitor overall demand and financial practices, ensuring compliance with the MFMA and Local Government Acts, in alignment with the overall finance strategy
\n\tProvide strategic capability and leadership input to the divisional objectives to ensure that resources required to support the strategic objectives are met
\n\tEnsure implementation of operational processes to regulate specific work to ensure the goods and services are delivered at the correct time, location, at the right quality and quantity
\n\tEnsure adequate implementation of governance and risk management practices to ensure that there is proper governance and compliance and risk management
\n\tParticipate in implementation of financial process to ensure compliance in terms of the MFMA and other applicable legislation<\/p>\n
