Main purpose \/ objective of the position:<\/p>\n
\tMaintains a positive image of the company through management of the\u00a0information desk during mall trading hours.
\n\tLiaise with customers at the info desk\u00a0or via telephone in a welcoming, pleasant and courteous manner.
\n\tAssumes\u00a0overall responsibility for efficiently transferring daily knowledge of shopping\u00a0centre activities to customers.
\n\tAdvises customers and tenants on the centre\u00a0facilities lay-out and procedures.
\n\tSells gift cards according to standard accepted\u00a0tender methods, i.e. cash, credit and debit cards.
\n\tManagement of cash according\u00a0to standard procedures.
\n\tAdheres to FICA and bank requirements when selling gift\u00a0cards to the general public.
\n\tGathers information to support re-issue of lost\/stolen\u00a0gift\u00a0 card\/s according to standard procedures.
\n\tFollows the standard gift card\u00a0procedures both internally and externally to general public.
\n\tLiaises with tenants.Assists in the collection of lost items handed in to the info desk by general public\u00a0and\/or mall staff.
\n\tFollows the lost items standard procedure Assist with wheel\u00a0chair facilities to the general public.
\n\tAdhere to the standard wheel chair\u00a0procedures.
\n\tCompletes and signs daily control sheets according to standard\u00a0procedure.
\n\tWorks on a roster basis within the shopping centre trading\u00a0procedure.
\n\tWorks on a roster basis within the shopping centre trading\u00a0hours which includes Saturday, Sunday and Public Holidays.<\/p>\n

Experience \/ Education:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12.
\n\tAt least 2 years minimum sales\/professional customer care experience<\/p>\n
