\n\tCommissioning, writing and editing articles that are legally sound, accurate and engaging.
\n\tManaging, supporting and developing team members.<\/p>\n
Skills and Competencies:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tThe successful candidate is an experienced business journalist with a strong track record of covering financial topics.
\n\tClear understanding of markets and South Africa\u2019s corporate sector, with a large network of expert contacts in various sectors.\u00a0
\n\tStrong leadership and team management skills.\u00a0
\n\tA demonstrated commitment to the highest standard of journalism and ethical reporting.
\n\tExceptional writing, editing, and fact-checking abilities under tight deadlines.\u00a0
\n\tStrong storytelling skills, and the ability to translate complex technical topics into accessible articles with visual components.
\n\tSkilled in planning, executing, and leading successful projects.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Qualifications and experience:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tAt least 7 years’ experience as a financial journalist.
\n\tA proven track record in companies reporting.
\n\tManagement experience.
\n\tA relevant tertiary qualification.
\n\tDigital experience in a business news environment is recommended.<\/p>\n
