Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
Service Mapping & Definition:<\/p>\n
\tGathering and translating insights into actionable requirements, and supporting change initiatives that improve client experience, efficiency, and scalability.
\n\tDevelop and maintain service blueprints and the service ecosystem map to ensure alignment and prioritization.
\n\tBreak complex operational services into product components with clear value propositions.
\n\tDefine product scope, inputs\/outputs, SLAs, and client touchpoints.<\/p>\n
Client & Market Insight Gathering:<\/p>\n
\tEngage with internal stakeholders and clients to gather service improvement needs.
\n\tAnalyse usage patterns and pain points across reporting, NAV, reconciliation, and trade functions.
\n\tBenchmark against industry best practices (IFRS 17, ASISA, etc.).<\/p>\n
Business & Functional Requirements:<\/p>\n
\tBreak down epics into features and user stories with stakeholder input, documenting business rules, use cases, and system requirements.
\n\tUtilize tools like ARIS, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart, or Miro to document data flows, business processes, SOPs, and work instructions.<\/p>\n
Project & Change Support:<\/p>\n
\tIn collaboration with project and testing teams, oversee the quality delivery of requirements and business process specifications in line with best practices and business process.
\n\tParticipate in service rollouts, client onboarding, and process transitions.
\n\tSupport communication, training, and documentation of new features or services.
\n\tParticipate in UAT and guide users to ensure that the designed solution ultimately meets business requirements.\u00a0
\n\tUse scenario testing and test cases to ensure that testing covers all aspects of the business specification and anticipated processes.<\/p>\n
Product Performance & Reporting:<\/p>\n
\tTrack service performance KPIs (e.g., accuracy, turnaround time, usage metrics).
\n\tIdentify areas for automation, simplification, or scalability.
\n\tSupport development of internal and client-facing dashboards.
\n\tEnsure that requirements and business process specifications are reviewed, validated, tested and approved by relevant stakeholders at each stage in the development cycle,\u00a0from conceptual to end product.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience<\/p>\n
\t3+ years in product analysis, business analysis, or financial services operations.
\n\tDegree in Finance, Economics, Information Systems, or related field.
\n\tBusiness Analysis Certification (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) is advantageous.
\n\tFamiliarity with regulatory environments (e.g., IFRS 17, ASISA) is a plus.
\n\tExperience working with data, reporting tools, or financial systems.
\n\tSolid understanding of fund administration, NAV pricing, trade processing, or reporting.<\/p>\n
