SUMMARY OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO<\/p>\n
\tEnsure that customer deposits and internal by-products are received and sampled in accordance with the Theory of Sampling, budgeted turnaround time, cost and SHEQ protocols
\n\tLead operational planning in alignment with the organizational strategies by adhering to good sampling practices, SOPs and systems which are aligned to the company\u2019s strategy.
\n\tInterpret, evaluate and direct sampling information and protocols in line with Rand Refinery business requirements.
\n\tEstablish and maintain appropriate production, quality and safety control measures.
\n\tEnsure that the Smelter customer deposits are sampled as per plans in line with customer contractual agreements.
\n\tPerform daily, monthly and quarterly duties in preparation for stock evaluation and metal balance control.
\n\tCarry out investigations on any safety and quality deviations and provide feedback to management.
\n\tEnsure timeous submission and verification of daily reports.
\n\tEnsure training and development of subordinates as well as succession planning.

\n\tMaintain high security and minimise risks by implementing key control procedures, such as locking up and registration of high value deposits. No product losses, correct documentation and \u00a0management feedback.<\/p>\n

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:<\/p>\n
\t\u00a0Completed Matric qualification.
\n\t\u00a0Minimum of 5 years of working experience in a metallurgical or Smelter environment.
\n\t\u00a0A least 2 years\u2019 experience as a supervisor will be advantageous. Preference will be given to candidates who underwent a supervisory training program.<\/p>\n
