\tPBT Group is seeking a highly analytical Technical Business Analyst with strong Power BI expertise to support a dynamic team within the reinsurance and regulatory reporting space. This role is ideal for someone who can bridge the gap between business needs and visual data insights, translating complex business requirements into clear, impactful dashboards and reports.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tEngage with business stakeholders to understand and interpret business requirements.
\n\tTranslate business logic into intuitive, visual insights using Power BI dashboards and reports.
\n\tPrototype and iterate on reporting solutions collaboratively within a supportive team.
\n\tWork with structured data marts (fact and dimension tables) to model data within Power BI.
\n\tEnsure accuracy, relevance, and clarity in dashboards that support strategic business decisions.
\n\tDocument business and data logic applied within reporting solutions.
\n\tAttend to data integrity, layout consistency, and end-user usability.<\/p>\n
Minimum Requirements:<\/p>\n
\t6\u20138 years\u2019 experience as a Business Analyst, BI Analyst, or Data Visualisation Specialist.
\n\tProven ability to gather and interpret business requirements and translate these into data visualisations.
\n\tStrong Power BI skills \u2013 including DAX, data modelling, visuals, slicers, bookmarks, layout design, and publishing.
\n\tFamiliarity with structured data environments \u2013 fact and dimension tables.
\n\tExperience working independently, with good attention to detail.
\n\tBackground in insurance, reinsurance, regulatory reporting, or financial services preferred.
\n\tAble to work collaboratively while taking initiative in dashboard development.<\/p>\n
Desirable:<\/p>\n
\tExposure to SQL or similar query tools.
\n\tExperience working with cloud-based platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
\n\tKnowledge of accounting, actuarial, or compliance data would be a bonus.<\/p>\n
