\n\tEnsure timely, compliant shipping, including hazardous goods like lithium batteries<\/p>\n
Inventory Management:<\/p>\n
\tMaintain stock levels at various stores and Fulfilment Centres
\n\tCompile and report weekly stock levels
\n\tManage demo, loan, replacement, and written-off stock<\/p>\n
Customs & Compliance:<\/p>\n
\tEnsure compliance with international regulations (e.g. IATA, IMDG, WEEE)
\n\tHandle permits, licenses, and legal documentation
\n\tStay updated on destination country import requirements and regulations<\/p>\n
Documentation & Certification:<\/p>\n
\tPrepare and manage key shipping documents including:
\n\tCustoms invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates (Origin, Conformity, Warranty)
\n\tPermits (Import\/Export, ITAC), End User Certificates, LC documents
\n\tBattery Declarations, MSDS, ATA Carnets, Internal Transfer Docs<\/p>\n
Technology Proficiency:<\/p>\n
\tUse logistics software, Pastel, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Google Docs, Shopify, CRM, and AssetZure for logistics planning and tracking.<\/p>\n
Asset Management:<\/p>\n
\tRegister and track company assets.
\n\tConduct stock takes and archive asset records.
\n\tUse AssetZure for asset location creation, upload, and photo documentation.<\/p>\n
Supplier & Freight Liaison:<\/p>\n
\tCommunicate with freight forwarders and clients.
\n\tManage Prestmarine insurance estimates for adequate coverage.<\/p>\n
Repairs Logistics:<\/p>\n
\tBook products into the repair centre and manage returns.
\n\tUpdate case tracking in CRM.<\/p>\n
Risk Management:<\/p>\n
\tProactively identify and solve customs or transport issues.
\n\tPrepare for unannounced DCAC inspections and audits.<\/p>\n
Secondary Duties:<\/p>\n
\tRespond to ad hoc shipping requests.
\n\tStay informed about regulation changes.
\n\tMaintain permit registers and ensure data security.
\n\tUphold a proactive, helpful, and detail-oriented attitude<\/p>\n
Requirements include:<\/p>\n
\tGrade 12
\n\tLogistics-related certifications (Advantageous)\u00a0
\n\tA thorough understanding of DCAC and NCACC processes and procedures, along with strong technical expertise
\n\t10+ years in logistics, shipping or inventory management\u00a0
\n\tDrivers License with own\/ reliable transport
