\tManage the staff requirements of the Unit
\n\tConduct orientation and train new staff
\n\tEvaluate staff performance
\n\tManage nursing standards and in-service training
\n\tMaintain a professional image and character
\n\tEnsure quality and excellent patient care
\n\tEnforce health and safety regulations
\n\tAccurate record keeping and management of stock
\n\tPolicy implementation<\/p>\n
Requirements<\/p>\n
\tProfessional Nursing Qualification
\n\tDiploma\/Certificate in Critical Care General
\n\tAt least five years relevant experience in a leader\/shift leader position in ICU
\n\tRegistration of SANC and proof of indemnity cover are pre-requisites
\n\tA pleasant disposition
\n\tExcellent communication skills
\n\tExcellent leadership abilities
\n\tOwn transport would be advantageous
\n\tAbility to work flexible shifts<\/p>\n
