\tYou will be expected to drive sales and customer ownership primarily through Africa and additionally through Europe and Middle East. As the key account owner for the region, you will play a key role in developing and growing strategic relationships with customers, maintaining the sales pipeline, expanding market presence, and executing regional sales and channel strategies.<\/p>\n
What will your typical day look like?\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tDrive regional sales efforts, ensuring alignment with global sales strategies and objectives.
\n\tDevelop and nurture relationships with senior executives at major mining companies and partners, drive engagement and secure new business opportunities.
\n\tBring your sales energy, every day, to help drive a high-performance culture.
\n\tOversee account management activities for key regional customers, ensuring long-term customer satisfaction and retention.
\n\tIn collaboration with the local team, identify and pursue new business development opportunities to expand the company\u2019s footprint in the region.
\n\tCollaborate with cross-functional teams (product, services, engineering) to ensure alignment with customer needs and the delivery of tailored solutions.
\n\tMonitor and report on regional sales performance, including forecasting, pipeline management, and market trends.
\n\tRepresent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to build brand awareness and drive business growth.<\/p>\n
What do we want to know about you?\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tWillingness to travel locally and internationally (25 to 50% per month).
\n\tBachelor\u2019s degree in business, engineering, or a related field (MBA would be beneficial).
\n\tSales experience, in a key account management role within the mining, industrial or technology integration sector would be beneficial.
\n\tExperience managing complex sales cycles and large accounts, particularly in technical solutions and services.
\n\tProven track record of opening doors and building relationships with senior executives.
\n\tStrong sales pipeline discipline skills (CRM, e.g. Salesforce), with the ability to run autonomously, document activities and meet quarterly and annual targets.<\/p>\n
