To qualify, you must have:<\/p>\n
\tBCom Honours Degree with specialisation in Finance\/ Accounting\/Management Accounting\/Public Sector Finance or related qualification (NQF Level 8)
\n\tA minimum of 5 years in Management Accounting of which 2 years must be managerial experience.
\n\tThis position is subject to a 6 months\u2019 probation period.<\/p>\n
You must also demonstrate knowledge and experience in:<\/p>\n
\tKnowledge of Parliamentary policies, systems, procedures and National Treasury guidelines and regulations.
\n\tKnowledge and understanding of the FMPPLA and the relevant management guidelines, principles, and procedures.
\n\tKnowledge of IFRS, GAAP, and other relevant financial regulations, particularly as they apply to consolidation and divisional environments.
\n\tKnowledge of Lean principles and cost optimization techniques.
\n\tStrong knowledge and experience in Enterprise Resource Planning in Finance (Oracle SAP, etc), including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, Access, Outlook and Oracle.
\n\tExcellent written and verbal communication skills.
\n\tExcellent planning and organising skills.
\n\tStrong attention to detail and accuracy.
\n\tHands-on and teamwork focussed.
\n\tExcellent management skills.
