\tWe are seeking a Human Resources Director to lead country HR operations in Oracle South Africa. This position reports into the HR Senior Director, Middle East, Africa & Turkey. The successful candidate will deliver country HR leadership, drive operational excellence and closely partner with local business leaders in Oracle South Africa.\u00a0
\n\tAs an HR Director, you will play a pivotal role in aligning business objectives with people-related strategies, driving organizational success through effective human resources management. This position demands a forward-thinking leader who can foster strong relationships with executives and provide strategic guidance on various HR functions.<\/p>\n
RESPONSIBILITIES:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tLead and mentor a team of HR Consultants in South Africa, ensuring they provide exceptional support to employees and managers.\u00a0
\n\tTranslate Global & EMEA HR strategic priorities into a range of activities and programs in South Africa.
\n\tBe the HR strategic advisor to the South Africa Country leadership team on issues such as talent development, employee relations, management leadership, etc.
\n\tDrive key HR activities with your team and in collaboration with HR cross-functional teams \u2013 for example: staffing, employee development, employee relations, compensation and benefits, HR systems and analytics, cooperation with HR shared services centers and merger & acquisition. \u00a0
\n\tContribute to the overall BBBEE strategy and maintain a healthy score.
\n\tEnsure compliance with employment legislation, staying updated on any legal changes that may impact the organization.
\n\tAnalyze workforce trends, metrics, and data to identify areas of improvement and develop actions plans accordingly. \u00a0<\/p>\n
QUALIFICATIONS:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tSignificant HR leadership experience working in South Africa, preferably with experience in the IT sector.\u00a0
\n\tSolid working knowledge of South African employment legislation law and engagement at the CCMA level.
\n\tExperience of working with senior management teams.
\n\tExperience in working in a large, complex multinational environment.\u00a0
\n\tStrong negotiations skills.
\n\tStrong written, verbal and presentation skills.\u00a0
\n\tAbility to manage change in a fast paced, growth environment.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tManages teams that maintain and\/or implement HR policies and procedures.
\n\tManages the development, deployment, and execution of HR business requirements and compliance standards.
\n\tIdentifies HR goals, objectives, and metrics; analyzes business needs and prioritizes workload for teams. \u00a0
\n\tAdvise managers and employees on HR practices and procedures.
\n\tDevelop and implement global company-wide programs and initiatives (i.e. \u00a0benefit programs, manpower planning, salary\/bonus\/stock review, organizational change, performance management, employee well-being and training assessment).
\n\tBased on reporting that team members are providing, evaluates potential business impacts and provides guidance to business decision-makers.
\n\tDevelops short – medium term plans to successfully implement operational policies and achieve strategic objectives and results.
\n\tRegularly interacts across functional areas with senior management or executives to ensure business objectives are met.
\n\tSelects, develops, and evaluates management to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
\n\tTrains and mentors staff. May perform other duties as assigned.<\/p>\n
