Job Description<\/p>\n
\tUnder the supervision of a Senior Engineer, perform detailed structural designs and calculations for structural systems in commercial and industrial fields for both reinforced concrete and structural steel type structures.
\n\tWhen required assist with Revit modelling.
\n\tTake responsibility for structural design and drawings.
\n\tBe part of a project team, liaise with other professional team members and contractors.
\n\tAttend planning, design and site meetings, and ad-hoc site inspections.
\n\tManage less complicated projects
\n\tWork to ensure the implementation of safety and integrity principles in structural documentation.
\n\tPromote compliance with all relevant engineering standards and internal procedures for all design activities.
\n\tAssist with the compilation of bids and proposals.<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tMinimum 4 years\u2019 experience in design of concrete and steel structures.
\n\tSolid knowledge and understanding of structural analysis software like Tekla Structural Designer \/ Etabs \/ Robot \/ Prokon.
\n\tRevit Structures knowledge will be advantageous.
\n\tMust have experience in the design of reinforced concrete and structural steel buildings.
\n\tFinite element design of concrete structures, specifically flat slab design.
\n\tSome experience in leading small design projects, including resource planning and design time frame estimates.
\n\tB.Eng. Degree
\n\tM.Eng. Degree preferable<\/p>\n
