Overview & Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tAs a Mechanical Fitter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functioning, reliability, and availability of our plant mechanical equipment.
\n\tYour expertise will help minimize downtime and maintain compliance with safety and operational standards.<\/p>\n
Key Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
\tSafety & Compliance: Uphold legal compliance and safety standards in all maintenance activities.
\n\tEquipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs to ensure high equipment availability.
\n\tContinuous Improvement: Engage in problem-solving initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
\n\tStakeholder Engagement: Collaborate effectively with customers and stakeholders to meet their needs.<\/p>\n
Essential Requirements<\/p>\n
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:<\/p>\n
\tMatric qualification.
\n\tMinimum of N3 Mechanical Certificate.
\n\tRed Seal Trade Test certification as a Fitter or Fitter & Turner.
\n\tAt least 5 years of experience with large industrial and plant equipment.
\n\tMinimum of 5 years\u2019 experience with heavy rotating equipment.
\n\tASU plant experience is advantageous.
\n\tAbility to perform physically demanding tasks.
\n\tWillingness to work overtime and perform standby duties as required.
\n\tProficiency in MS Office Suite.
\n\tValid unendorsed driver\u2019s license and own transport.<\/p>\n
