\tMr Price Logistics is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Scientist Trainee to join our team. This 12-month program is designed to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in a data-driven environment.<\/p>\n
Purpose & Objective:<\/p>\n
\tDevelop and implement data-driven decision-making models and provide insights through the application of machine learning, data mining and artificial intelligence methods.
\n\tThe Objective is to develop a data scientist with expertise in supply chain and logistics, equipped to drive business growth through data-driven insights to improve business and operational efficiency, reduce costs, increase revenue in line with strategic objectives<\/p>\n
Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tData analysis: Assist in analyzing and interpreting complex data sets to inform business decisions.
\n\tModel development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement data models and algorithms.
\n\tInsight generation: Identify trends and patterns in data to provide actionable insights and recommendations.
\n\tData visualization: Create reports and visualizations to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
\n\tLearning and development: Participate in training and development initiatives to enhance data science skills and knowledge.<\/p>\n
Qualifications<\/p>\n
\tDegree: Bachelor’s or Relevant degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
\n\tTechnical skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL. Statistics and machine learning fundamentals
\n\tData visualization: (Tableau, Power BI & Excel)
\n\tData analysis: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
\n\tCommunication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
\n\tAgile learner: Ability to adapt to new technologies and methodologies.
