Minimum Requirements<\/p>\n
\tMatric\/Grade 12 Certificate or equivalent.
\n\tPSIRA Grade A\/B registered.
\n\tValid Driver\u2019s License with own reliable transport is required.
\n\tAt least 3-5 years\u2019 within the Mining Security Sector.
\n\tWorking knowledge of the Firearm Act and Firearm competency for Business Purposes.
\n\tHealth and Safety experience.
\n\tStaff management experience is required.
\n\tComputer literacy with expert knowledge of the complete Microsoft package.
\n\tSound planning, administration, interpersonal communication, and client liaison skills are required.
\n\tStrong leadership and organisational skills as well as good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
\n\tGreat understanding of Security Management statutory requirements and dynamics.
\n\tNo criminal record or any pending cases.
\n\tMedically Fit.<\/p>\n
Duties & Responsibilities<\/p>\n
\tMaintaining good relations between the Client(s) with regards to security services rendered.
\n\tManaging allocated areas to ensure that contractual requirements are met as stipulated by the Client (s).
\n\tEnsuring that all Security Officers on site meet the contractual requirements as stipulated by the Client(s).
\n\tConstantly evaluating the service levels provided and making recommendations to the Client(s) regarding the improvement of security services \u2013 Risk Assessments.
\n\tGeneral management and supervision of security staff to ensure that the required performance levels are always met.
\n\tLiaising daily with management on various operational issues
\n\tLiaising daily with Regional Management on various Operational matters.
\n\tEnsuring that all HR related queries are dealt with promptly, formulate disciplinary actions \u2013 where applicable.
\n\tEnsuring the timeous submission of reports to both client(s) and Head Office as required.
\n\tSubmitting relevant weekly \/ monthly incident and general reports to Management.
\n\tInvestigating incidents and reporting on such.
\n\tPro-active planning on various sites and clients.<\/p>\n
