Environmental Compliance Management<\/p>\n
\tMonitor and ensure sub-contractor environmental compliance across all construction activities
\n\tImplement and maintain Environmental Management Systems in compliance with legislation, municipal by-laws, and Eskom Environmental Management Plan
\n\tDrive compliance to statutory environmental requirements and project specifications
\n\tConduct environmental compliance audits and assessments<\/p>\n
Stakeholder Coordination and Communication<\/p>\n
\tServe as primary liaison with clients on environmental matters
\n\tCoordinate between internal teams and external stakeholders on environmental issues
\n\tAttend project meetings and provide environmental input and reporting
\n\tFacilitate communication across various channels to raise environmental awareness<\/p>\n
Monitoring and Reporting<\/p>\n
\tCompile comprehensive environmental management reports for LFC Management and Consortium Partners
\n\tMonitor and measure environmental performance indicators
\n\tTrack environmental non-conformances and implement corrective actions
\n\tMaintain accurate documentation of environmental compliance activities<\/p>\n
Training and Awareness<\/p>\n
\tConduct environmental inductions and toolbox talks for site personnel
\n\tRaise employee awareness on environmental requirements and procedures
\n\tProvide coaching and guidance to team members on environmental best practices
\n\tDevelop and deliver environmental training programs<\/p>\n
Continuous Improvement<\/p>\n
\tStay current with environmental legislation and regulatory developments
\n\tUpdate company environmental documents and procedures
\n\tParticipate in environmental management training and professional development
\n\tContribute to the development of integrated risk management approaches<\/p>\n
\u00a0QUALIFICATION<\/p>\n
\tNational Diploma Environmental Management, or related field\u00a0<\/p>\n
EXPERIENCE<\/p>\n
\tPrevious internship or work experience in environmental management (advantageous)<\/p>\n
