Requirements:
\nMinimum Qualifications and Experience:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tHonours degree (statistics, mathematics, finance, accounting, investment management, portfolio management or any other relevant commerce) or equivalent\u00a0
\n\tProfessional qualifications (CFA, CA, FRM, PRM)\u00a0
\n\tA minimum of 10 years relevant experience, of which 5 years must at least be in senior management.\u00a0
\n\tFAIS RE5, RE1 and RE3 (or to be obtained within 6 months)\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
Preferred Qualifications :\u00a0<\/p>\n
\tPost graduate qualification MBA\/M.Com\/MFI\/MSc\/ Engineering and\/or any relevant Master\u2019s degree\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\tRelevant experience in team leadership and People management\u00a0

Duties:<\/p>\n
\tGenerate superior risk-adjusted returns for clients while being cognisant of also providing optimal societal outcomes.\u00a0
\n\tMotivate the team of analysts and portfolio managers to perform at their best levels.\u00a0
\n\tEncourage idea generation and optimal portfolio construction.\u00a0
\n\tManage stakeholders and work cohesively with peers, clients and principals.\u00a0
\n\tTo provide strategic vision, leadership, and management of the Listed Investments\u00a0
\n\tManage and coordinate all equity investment functions of the PIC to ensure that the listed investments deliver on its mandated objective of outperformance.\u00a0
\n\tDrive PIC\u2019s strategic vision in the Listed Investments division.\u00a0
\n\tDevelopment of strategies and policies for the listed investments (listed equities, listed REITS, fixed income and externally managed).\u00a0
\n\tManagement of the listed equities, fixed income, property and multi-management processes.\u00a0
\n\tDevelopment and maintenance of the asset allocation strategy.\u00a0
\n\tManage the incorporation of ESG principles into the investment process.\u00a0
\n\tLead a dynamic team of professionals.\u00a0<\/p>\n
