Support\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tDevelop and embed a culture of customer focus and performance management to ensure high quality and continuous improvement in service delivery.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tEnsure corporate support governance processes are in place and review processes where necessary.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tCollaborate with the Legal Advisor to ensure compliance with all legislative requirements.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tMaintain and monitor JOSHCO\u2019s Code of Conduct.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Financial Management\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure that budget is spent cost-effectively.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tSubmit monthly budget status.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tDevelop and adhere to correct financial Service Level matrixes.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tEnsure adherence to budgets and corrective action were required.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tContinuously align budget and expenditure with the strategic outlook of business unit.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tProvide guidance, direction and support to management and staff on HR budget allocations and usage.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tMonitor and manage the talent management budget.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tEnsure cost effective management of the Corporate Services function.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Implement an Effective Framework for Human Resources\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tAlign the Human Resource Plan with JOSHCO\u2019s strategic goals.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tEstablish objectives for the Human Resource Division within the organisation.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tEnsure the development and implementation of a Talent Management Framework for JOSHCO.<br \/>\n\tEnsures HRD initiatives with JOSHCO contribute to the attainment of overall objectives and goals of the organisation.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tEnsure the development and review of organisational structures that meet changing service needs.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tEnsure a comprehensive and efficient document management framework for JOSHCO Human Resources requirements.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tEnsure relevant and \u2018fit for purpose\u2019 employee benefit and remuneration policies and programmes are maintained.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tEnsure that progressive Employee Relations are maintained within the organisation.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tDirect and organisation-wide wellness framework.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Implementation of an Effective Strategy Framework for Communication and Marketing\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tSet policy and strategy for external Communication and Marketing.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tDefine the JOSHCO brand image.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tEnsure regular and effective communication between JOSHCO and the CoJ on key corporate support matters.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tEnsure strategic direction to identify key stakeholders and media channels and partners.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tPromote the JOSHCO brand amongst stakeholders.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tPromotion of JOSHCO and its processes and systems to stakeholders.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tEnsure that events such as launches, sod-turning and political events are properly managed.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tEnsure that staff are trained in protocol and how to handle dignitaries.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tServe as a communication medium to the whole organisation and executive sponsors of the transformation.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Office Management\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure the provision of centralized facilities services\u00a0<br \/>\n\tEnsure the planning of facilities for future requirements\u00a0<br \/>\n\tManagement of service levels with facilities providers\u00a0<br \/>\n\tTo oversee contractual arrangements for all buildings and facilities, ensuring that facilities are fit for purpose, provide value for money and are in compliance with local law.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tTo keep a central record and oversight of all contracts.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tTo ensure all contracts meet legal and financial requirements.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tTo provide regular financial and HR reports as required.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Health and Safety Management\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tDetermine strategic direction and work priorities (in conjunction with line management) for the continuous improvement of SHEQ management programme and systems.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tAdvise line management and assist with the implementation of new or existing SHEQ-related legislation, rules and Company standards to include fire prevention, health and safety awareness training, site inspections of Company and contractors on JOSHCO\u2019s sites.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tComplete prevention inspections of annual audits and Quality Assurance.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tDevelop SHEQ Communication Strategy for all sites and levels of staff, to include written information, toolbox talks and management briefs.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tManage retention of all current quality accreditations and work towards the attainment of new quality accreditations.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tProvide support and expertise to line management in incident investigation and reporting (including dangerous occurrences and occupational diseases.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>People Management\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tEnsure the development of a high-performing team through embedding formal performance development and informally coaching management team on how to conduct the process effectively.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tDetermine and analyse training and development needs for managers and ensure they do the same for their teams.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tEstablish and maintain a succession plan for the management team in the area using the formal Talent Management process for identified talent and an information process for remaining roles.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tEnsure that managers create effective workforce plans and recruitment demands plans for their areas.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tAddress poor performance of any team member through the formal Performance Improvement process.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tPursue own development to increase personal effectiveness, acknowledging strengths and areas of development.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>MINIMUM EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tA minimum NQF level 7 qualification in Human Resource Management or Business Management or other suitable tertiary qualification.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tAn MBA, MBL or master\u2019s will be an added advantage.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tA Certificate in MFMA or the ability to acquire it within the first 18 months of employment.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\tA minimum of 5-7 years\u2019 corporate services management of which 3 years\u2019 must be at senior or strategic management level.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tGood knowledge and understanding of institutional governance systems and performance management.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tGood knowledge and understanding of relevant policies and legislation.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tGood knowledge of corporate support services, including human resources management.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tGood communication and negotiation skills.\u00a0<br \/>\n\tLabour relations Act, and other labour and
